Women in Ranching (WinR)

Peer to Peer Ranching Network

Women in Ranching is providing a collective voice, a peer network, the exchange of ideas and management strategies for working-lands women throughout the west. Individual "Circles" of 20-25 women convene on host ranches (offered generously at no cost) to learn, grow, build community and find a renewed awareness of inner abundance and resiliency. Circles foster substantive conversation on self-awareness, leadership and regenerative agricultural practices, mixed with hands-on learning and skill development which is culturally and geographically relevant to the host location. With Circles in California, Montana and New Mexico, WinR is over 80 women strong. Over the next five years, their goal is to create Circles in each of the eleven western states.

Soil Centric's Pro Tip

The Women in Ranching community creates a safe space for learning, growth, breaking down negative self-narratives and finding opportunity in shared challenges as women who care for the land. If you are looking for support in your work on the land, please reach out to WinR to find a Circle of empowered women near you!"
