Regenerative Agriculture Study Abroad

Regeneration Academy is located on the 1,100 hectare farm of La Junquera in Murcia, Spain, a region characterized by a semi-arid climate and sparse population. They offer a transdisciplinary learning environment and range of activities working with students, entrepreneurs, rural communities and organizations connected to regenerative agriculture and ecosystem restoration. The four-month Regenerative Agriculture Research Program offers positions to 5-12 students who would like to combine their thesis/internship with an on-farm learning opportunity on regenerative agriculture. Regeneration Academy also offers one week immersive programs in the fall and spring.

La Junquera farm and village is also the site of the flagship Ecosystem Restoration Camp. It is being transformed from a traditional farm into a beacon of regenerative agriculture in accordance to the "4 returns principles" (https://www.commonland.com/en) of the Dutch organization, Commonland. Students must speak basic Spanish.
