Training the Next Generation of Farmers & Ranchers

Rogue Farm Corps (RFC) offers structured, entry-level and advanced farmer training programs rooted in real-world farm business. They offer experiences with vegetable production, animal husbandry and dairy and work with host farms and ranches located in the Rogue Valley, the Portland Metro Area, the South Willamette Valley, and Central Oregon.

Soil Centric's Pro Tip

If you live in Oregon or are Oregon-bound, RFC offers the opportunity to get true farmer cred. No experience is necessasry for RFC's Entry-Level Internship Program, a residential immersion program lasting 6-8 months (typically April- October). The Advanced-Level Farm Apprenticeship Program is for those who have at least one full growing season of farm/ranch experience. It typically runs February / March through November /December and can last for two seasons. RFC charges a modest tuition and does offer scholarships. They seek to train an inclusive next generation of farmers and encourage applicants of all backgrounds and identities to apply.
